Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8×30 Binoculars are perfect for field observations and outdoor measurements. Inside there is Russian optical glass with a ruby coating, mil scale and high-aperture objective lenses. Outside there is a rubberized body made of aluminum alloy which makes it unaffected by hits, moisture, or extreme temperatures. These binoculars are a great choice for hunting or aimed firing.
The “Made in Russia” optics with a ruby coating
Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8×30 Binoculars are designed according to a joint project by the Levenhuk Company and the Russian Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant known as one of the biggest suppliers of the Russian (earlier Soviet) Army. This plant was established in 1940 and has been supplying optical observation instruments for 70 years for solving military tactical tasks in open terrain. Russian glass made to the highest standards of the arms industry is recognized worldwide. The optics with a ruby coating significantly increase image contrast at low illumination conditions (on a cloudy day, in twilight or predawn hours).
Reticle is used to determine the distance to an observed object or target for firing. You need to know its height and width. The distance is calculated according to special measuring scales in the right eyepiece. The measurement procedure is described in the user guide.
Rubberized aluminum body
The body is made of aluminum alloy and protected by a rubberized coating that ensures firm grip and prevents the binoculars from slipping out of one’s hands. Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8×30 Binoculars are impervious to accidental falling to the ground and vibrations, and the joints are sealed with a special substance that ensures that these binoculars do not accumulate dust and water inside. The optical and mechanical parts are impervious to extreme temperatures in the range of –40 to +50 °C.
The binoculars use classic focusing with a central focusing wheel. The eyecups are made of rubber; there is a diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece. The interpupillary distance is also adjustable.
